BEYOND 2020 - Paper submission

BEYOND 2020 is the global edition of the 2018-2020 cycle of the renowned Sustainable Built Environment (SBE) conference series. The series was initiated in 2000 by iiSBE, CIB, UN Environment, FIDIC and is considered to be the most influential conferences on sustainable built environment globally.

As part of an SBE cycle, BEYOND 2020 will not only serve as a stand-alone world conference with independent paper requirements and review process, but it will also embrace the key findings from the 13 regional editions of the conference taking place in 2018-2019).

The thematic focus of BEYOND 2020 in Gothenburg will be to create a clear link between the most relevant UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the built environment. To this aim, the SDGs of relevance for the building sector have been summarized into KEY TOPICs that will serve as reference themes for abstract and full paper submissions (see overview here).

More details on the paper submission requirements will be provided in the first half of 2019.
